This customer was using a thermal inkjet printer to mark a date code on their plastic bottle caps. The print was not clear, and the operator had to wipe the print-head after each print. The process was very labor intensive and expensive.
Solution:
PIN Distributor upgraded this customer to a small character continuous inkjet system. The new system provides a much cleaner print on the bottle caps and requires no maintenance during the production runs. The customer chose the printer after Ship-Pac ran samples and showed them the improved print.
