This client was preprinting and hand applying labels to their cases after they were packed. The process was very labor intensive and time consuming.

PIN Distributor supplied this customer with a new automatic label printer applicator. The unit is mounted directly to the customer’s production line and automatically prints and applies the labels to the packed cases before being palletized.

The customer experienced a significant cost savings because they removed the labor from applying the preprinted labels on the line. They are able to use the operator for other tasks around their facility. The product has a much nicer look as well, as the applicator applies the label in the same place on the case, straight, so there is no offset of the label placement.
